We are  looking to recruit an experienced  IT Technician to work on a permanent basis in our office at 24 Goodge street London W1T 2QF.
Work experience : must have at least 3 years  previously working in an IT position and very good technical experience specially servers.

Working time : 10pm -6pm Monday -Friday
Salary : £14000-15000  per year , closing day 18 .May 2007

Responsibilities will include:

You will be visiting our clients and installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within an organization or between organizations to ensure the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users (staff, clients, customers, suppliers, etc).

Typical work activities usually include:

• installing, supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure;
• allocating network resources;
• setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords;
• monitoring network usage;
• ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers;
• suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems;
• ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards;
• analyzing and resolving faults, whether it is a major system crash or a forgotten password;
• undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;
• providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence;
• planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work;
• managing the website and keeping internal networks running;
• monitoring the use of the web by employees.
